The exciting spectacle of "Royal Views. Queen Victoria's Visit to Molsdorf Castle" invites you to delve into August 1845, when the illustrious British Queen Victoria (1819-1901) paid a private visit to the enchanting Baroque castle.
Having initially belonged to the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, the noble family of Queen Victoria's husband, Prince Albert (1819-1861), Molsdorf Castle was where royalty felt right at home.
Some of the displayed treasures include historical black-and-white snapshots and royal souvenirs, which are, in fact, watercolor reproductions of captivating castle vistas—the originals still reside in the British Royal family's collection in London.
