Caritas Nursing Home St. Josef Hosts Autumn Festival with Elvis, Dance, and Reflection
The Caritas Nursing Home St. Josef in Fulda hosted an autumn festival this year. The event, organized by Ulrike Klingelhofer and her team, was attended by residents, relatives, and staff. It began with a welcome by Mr. Sebastian Etzel and Mrs. Briesemeister.
The festival featured a variety of performances. The nursing home's seated dance group kicked off the entertainment. Later, Tessa Jakobs and the band 'Divine Concern' took the stage with their project 'Elvis in the Nursing Home'. This project, titled 'Elvis im Altenheim', was performed by the band associated with the project of the same name on October 3rd.
An ecumenical reflection was led by Pastor Anke Heil and Rev. Dr. Meins G.S. Coetsier, providing a moment of contemplation. The International Gideon Society also contributed, offering contemplative texts for encouragement.
The festival concluded with Mr. Etzel expressing thanks and best wishes, marking a successful and engaging event for all attendees.
