Construction of skate park in Anrath ended during fall season
The town of Anrath, Germany, is gearing up for the arrival of a new skate park, set to feature a diverse range of skate elements catering to skaters of all skill levels.
Located near Anrath station, the skate park plans include a mix of ramps, quarter pipes, rails, ledges, and a bowl section. Among the planned skate elements are a bank with quarter pipe, a wobble, a manual pad with curb, a flat rail, a 90° hip with table, and an open bowl with hip and bank.
The skate park designs have been drawn up by Populär Skateparks, a renowned organisation that has built over 200 skate parks worldwide since 1994. The park will cover an area of approximately 1,000 square meters, with nearly 160 square meters dedicated to skate elements. Around 100 square meters will be "concrete flat," providing ample space for skaters to showcase their skills.
In addition to the skate elements, the park will also include approximately 120 square meters of green space, adding a touch of nature to the urban setting.
The skate park is highly anticipated by the local community, and construction has already begun. The goal is to complete the park by the autumn holidays, giving skaters and enthusiasts something new to look forward to.
