The annual Cranger Kirmes parade, a traditional fair in Herne, Germany, took place despite the rain, attracting a vibrant display of floats and foot groups. This year, the Evangelical Hospital Community of Herne was awarded the best float in the parade, while the SV Neptun, the largest swimming club in Herne, won the most creative foot group category.

The three-person jury for the Cranger Kirmes parade consisted of Marvin Boettcher from Mondpalast, Dirk Drenk from the Herne Economic Development Corporation, and Jochen Schübel from the Press Office Cranger Kirmes. According to Marvin Boettcher, having a good atmosphere that rubs off on the jury was a good prerequisite for winning the parade.

The Palliative Network came in second place with the motto "The only true life is now," and the "Wanner Mädels and Jungs" took the second place in the foot group category. The "Cranger Kirmes Ritter" came in third place in the parade, and the Wanne-Eickeler chimney sweeps took the third place in the foot group category.

A special prize for exceptional social commitment was awarded to Hot-Jüngerbistro and Wittekindshof, as well as Müntefering Industry and Urban Cleaning GmbH for the restored Bimmelbahn. Around 30 people from the Teestube Hl. Familie on Rottbruchstraße in Holsterhausen rode on the restored Bimmelbahn, mostly adults with disabilities.

The Cranger Kirmes parade is a thank you to several hundred volunteers in Herne and Wanne-Eickel, who contribute to the success of the event each year. ARD sports presenter Peter Großmann will lead the colorful program of the evening. The presentation of the "Kirmes money" will take place on Monday, August 4, at 7 p.m. as part of the "Meeting in the Tent" event in the Cranger Festhalle.

For accurate information about the 2021 Cranger Kirmes parade winners, we recommend consulting the official Cranger Kirmes website, local Herne news archives from 2021, or contacting the event organizers directly, as these sources typically publish the official results after the event. The oldest participant of the festival parade was 95 years old, adding to the rich tradition and spirit of the Cranger Kirmes parade.

In the realm of achievements during the 2021 Cranger Kirmes parade, the Evangelical Hospital Community of Herne won the best float, and the SV Neptun claimed the title for the most creative foot group category.
