New Inclusive Dance Course Kicks Off in Düsseldorf

Starting on Friday, January 17, 2025, at 6 pm, the association "TanzenInklusiv NRW" will be offering a new inclusive dance course at the Rather Family Center, Rather Kreuzweg 43, 40472 Düsseldorf. This course is designed for beginners and welcomes both couples and individuals, including those who are wheelchair users.

The course will cover the basic steps and figures of various partner dances such as Disco-Fox and Slow Waltz, as well as line dances. Participants can expect to learn a variety of dances, with the aim of providing a fun and inclusive environment for all.

The association "TanzenInklusiv NRW" has demonstrated that wheelchair users can dance well, and they regularly dance with various groups throughout North Rhine-Westphalia. Their work in promoting inclusivity in dance has been supported by the federal government's Social Cohesion program, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, and the city of Düsseldorf.

The course fees are just five euros per session, making it an affordable option for those interested in learning to dance. Inquiries and registrations can be made to Udo Dumbeck via email at [email protected] or phone 0177 2 33 33 22.

It is possible to join the course at any time, with follow-up sessions every two weeks. For more information about the association and their work, visit their website at www.TanzenInklusiv.de.

Dancing with "TanzenInklusiv NRW" has been a possibility in Düsseldorf for many years, and this new course offers a great opportunity for those who are new to dance or looking to expand their skills in a welcoming and inclusive environment.
