Enhancing the standing of equine breeding is essential
This week, an action week organized by the association Vielfalt Pferd is taking place across Germany, including in Fritzlar and Korbach. The goal of this initiative is to showcase the value of horses in society, regardless of breed, size, or whether they are used for sports or leisure.
The action week aims to increase awareness and appreciation of horses in German society. It is not limited to traditional horse-related settings, as demonstrated by the waste collection activity with carriages in Fritzlar and the visits to kindergartens and retirement homes. These activities are intended to introduce horses to people who have never had contact with them.
In Fritzlar, waste collection with carriages is a new addition to the action week. Meanwhile, in Korbach, riders will make contact with "non-riders" at the McDonald's drive-in. These unique approaches are designed to reach people who may not typically interact with horses.
The association Vielfalt Pferd wants to demonstrate the importance of horses in various aspects of society. They believe that these activities will help to improve the image of horses and their keeping in society. Constanze Faste-Möller, who is involved with Vielfalt Pferd and the action week, has reported these activities.
The action week is not limited to a specific type of horse or horse-related activity. It is a week-long celebration of horses and their role in our society, reaching out to people in unexpected places and introducing them to these wonderful creatures. Whether it's waste collection with carriages, visits to kindergartens and retirement homes, or interactions at McDonald's drive-ins, the action week is sure to leave a lasting impression on those who participate.
