Expands offering of worldwide carpet tiles and luxury vinyl planks, designed for lasting interior designs
Interface, a leading global flooring company, is set to showcase its latest offerings at its Clerkenwell showroom in London. The event will feature the Dressed Lines and Lasting Impressions collections, alongside products from FLOR and nora® rubber flooring.
The Lasting Impressions collection, a take on timeless visuals, draws inspiration from traditional crafts and offers a fresh interpretation of heritage materials. The collection includes six styles with eight complementary colour combinations, two new styles - Heirloom and Plaster - and several products that urge designers to go bolder.
Heirloom, a woven-inspired addition to Interface's LVT portfolio, features visuals of tatami weaving. It is offered in a 25 cm x 1 m format in eight colourways, while Plaster, inspired by hand-finishes and natural patinas, celebrates handmade irregularities. Both styles are available in a 50 cm x 100 cm format.
The Lasting Impressions collection's Heirloom line includes styles in Canvas, Rice Paper, and Beryl. The Merino Wool and Canvas styles reference a connection to natural, breathable, and durable fibers, reflecting heritage craftsmanship updated for contemporary use. Rice Paper suggests delicacy and subtle layering, Beryl can imply depth and richness in colour or texture, and Jute brings rustic earthiness. Plaster evokes a handcrafted, sculptural aspect.
The Dressed Lines carpet tile collection, inspired by post-war modernism, is Cradle to Cradle Certified® v3.1 Silver in Europe, providing third-party validation of the company's commitment to material health.
Lasting Impressions is the first LVT collection to launch with Interface's new Sound Choice+TM acoustic backing in the EMEA market. This backing offers premium acoustic insulation without the expense of fitting underlays, reducing impact sound by up to 19 dB to avoid disturbances between floors and rooms.
Visitors to the showroom will also have the opportunity to learn about Interface's sustainability progress as the company works toward its goal to be carbon negative by 2040.
In conclusion, the Lasting Impressions collection by Interface emphasizes a blend of timeless craftsmanship and modern reinterpretations brought to life through a variety of textures and materials. It celebrates heritage materials and craftsmanship while applying modern design techniques to create surfaces with a lasting visual and tactile impact. The collection is ideally suited for sophisticated, lasting interiors and environments.
