Following the recent renovation, the transformed look of Villa Cosack is astonishing.

The Villa Cosack, a historic building in the heart of Arnsberg, will be opening its doors to the public on Sunday, September 14, as part of the "Day of Open Monuments". This marks a significant milestone in the building's history, following a comprehensive four-year renovation by the Balikcioglu family.

Constructed around 1883, the Villa Cosack was built by Josef Cosack (1855 - 1896). Over the years, it has served as a residential building. In 1988, the building was already listed as a monument in the city of Arnsberg, and its recent renovation has only served to enhance its value and significance.

The renovation has not only preserved the Villa Cosack's historical charm but also transformed it into a venue suitable for weddings and other events. One of the most notable additions is the creation of a new wedding room for the Arnsberg registry office, which will be housed in the large hall of the Villa Cosack.

This expansion of the Villa Cosack's use is not only a testament to its versatility but also a boon for the city's citizens. The Arnsberg registry office will now be able to conduct weddings in a magnificent setting, and the families of the newlyweds will have a new space to create memories.

The ground floor of the Villa Cosack will be utilised for retail and gastronomy, providing further opportunities for local businesses. The upper floors, meanwhile, have been converted into rental apartments, adding to the building's continued service as a valuable part of Arnsberg.

Arnsberg's mayor, Ralf Paul Bittner, personally attached the new monument plaque of the Westphalia-Lippe Regional Association during the renovation process. The upcoming visit to the Villa Cosack on September 14 is an opportunity for citizens to get a personal impression of the renovated state and the new wedding room.

Located near the Ruhr and in a central location, the Villa Cosack is easily accessible and promises to be a popular destination for both locals and visitors alike. The renovated Villa Cosack stands as a testament to the Balikcioglu family's commitment to preserving and enhancing Arnsberg's historical architecture, and it is a significant step in the building's continued service as a valuable part of the city.

Interested citizens are invited to visit the Villa Cosack on September 14 to witness the results of this extensive renovation project and explore the new wedding room. It promises to be an event not to be missed.
