Gießen is celebrating its apple harvest with 'Apple Day 2025', an event organised by the Obst- und Garten Association Wieseck e. V. in cooperation with the Streuobst- AG of the city of Gießen. Food and drinks, including coffee and cake, will be available for purchase.
The event is not just about apples. Organizations like BUND, INGE e. V., and a beekeepers' association will also be present. Children can engage in a creative activity, making nesting aids for garden birds with the environmental department of the city of Gießen.
Apple Day 2025 promises a delightful afternoon for all, celebrating the city's apple harvest and its history. With a pomologist on hand, an apple exhibition, food and drinks, and activities for children, it's an event not to be missed.
