Italian Company Pianoforte Expands Presence in Spain

The Italian company Pianoforte is making waves in the Spanish market, announcing the opening of new stores for its brands Yamamay and Carpisa.

Pianoforte currently operates a total of 8 Carpisa stores in Spain, with 6 owned and 2 franchised. One of these stores, located on Jaime III Avenue in Palma, is joined by a new Carpisa store set to open on December 17. The Carpisa store in Palma spans a total surface area of 70 square meters.

In addition to Carpisa, Pianoforte also owns the brand Yamamay. The group operates a total of 36 Yamamay stores in Spain, with 25 franchised and 11 owned. A new Yamamay store has recently opened on Jaime II Street in Palma de Mallorca, boasting a surface area of 90 square meters. This store was inaugurated on December 3.

The expansion of Pianoforte in Spain is part of a larger global strategy. Together, the Yamamay and Carpisa brands have a global network of over 1,100 points of sale. The company expects to close the 2011 financial year with a turnover of over 270 million euros.
