Guetersloh Offers Free Garden Waste Disposal on October 11 & 25
Guetersloh residents can now dispose of garden waste for free at designated collection points and facilities on specific dates. The city's composting and recycling center will accept leaves and hedge trimmings free of charge on Saturday, 11th October, with additional free disposal days scheduled for later in the year.
The garden waste collection event is organized by the city, with details available on the guetsel.de website. Residents can also call 05241 / 82-2420 or visit the city's environmental protection department website for more information.
The free disposal offer is limited to deliveries by car or car trailers, with larger vehicles or out-of-city deliveries subject to fees. The collection points will be open on Saturday, 25th October, from 7 to 14, with disposal outside of these hours considered an administrative offense. Only household quantities of garden waste are allowed, excluding large quantities, bulky waste, construction waste, or household waste.
Guetersloh residents are encouraged to take advantage of the free garden waste disposal opportunities provided by the city. By doing so, they can help maintain a clean and sustainable environment while ensuring their waste is disposed of responsibly.
