Gütersloh Celebrates Women's History With Limited Edition Calendar
Gütersloh residents can now collect a unique calendar celebrating the city's female history. The 'Gütersloher Frauen - A timeless calendar from 200 years of city history' features life stories of twelve remarkable women, spanning various social backgrounds and professions. It's available for free at the city archive, but hurry, only 200 copies were printed.
The calendar, published by the Gütersloh city archive, honours women who have made significant contributions to the city's history over the last 200 years. From engaged politicians to pioneering artists, these women challenged gender norms and proved that history was not written solely by men. The calendar is designed to be timeless, with a date slider for reuse year after year.
You can pick up your copy at the city archive located at Moltkestraße 47, 33330 Gütersloh. The archive is open Tuesday to Thursday, 10 am to 12:30 pm and Tuesday and Thursday, 2 pm to 5 pm. Each person can take one calendar while supplies last.
