Informational gathering session for private real estate owners, focusing on social housing opportunities and benefits
The Herford district, facing housing shortages and homelessness issues like other regions in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW), is taking proactive steps to address these challenges. In collaboration with the Landschaftsverband Westfalen-Lippe (LWL) and the Ev. Diakoniestiftung Herford, the district is establishing a network for emergency housing assistance.
On 18th September at 5 pm, an information event will take place at the Small Train Station in Enger. This event, held in a cozy atmosphere, is aimed at private landlords who may be eligible for attractive subsidies.
At the event, LWL will present its "Housing First" funding program, which was introduced in 2022. Private landlords can receive support in handling rental contracts and post-tenancy support. They may be eligible for a rental guarantee, renovation/sanitation subsidy, climate bonus, rental premium, or a subsidy for their investment costs.
Private investors, welfare organizations, and member corporations can apply for various grants for new construction, acquisition, and rental of housing under LWL's "Housing First" program.
For more information about funding opportunities and measures in social housing mediation, visit the Herford district's website. If you have any questions, please contact Marie-Christin Paul at 05221 13 1431 or m.c.paul@ourwebsite.
No registration is required for the event, but advance registration can help with planning. Join us on 18th September to learn more about how you can make a difference in the housing situation of homeless individuals and those at risk of homelessness by mediating privately offered housing through social housing mediation.
