Installs Marquee AV with Bose Pro audio for '&Soul', a venue hosting the UK's initial 'sauna rave'
In the vibrant neighbourhood of Shoreditch, London, the recently launched wellness and cultural venue, &Soul, has received a state-of-the-art audio upgrade courtesy of integrator Marquee AV. The installation, centred around Bose Professional audio technology, caters to the venue's diverse programming that encompasses movement classes, sound journeys, live events, and unique experiences such as the UK's first "rave-in-a-sauna."
The multi-functional audio system, designed to deliver high-quality sound tailored to the varied acoustic needs of different event types, promises an immersive audio experience across wellness sessions, cultural gatherings, and innovative events like saunas combined with rave music.
Marquee AV's remit extended beyond the Soul Room, a 194sqm double-height event space, which was previously equipped with Bose Professional DesignMax DM8S loudspeakers and DM10S subwoofers, and a Pioneer DJ system for live performances. The installation spans several key areas within the '&Soul' venue, including the Sanctuary & Heart Studio, reception, cafe, lounges, and Sensorium Spa.
The Sensorium Spa, featuring the 'SUN' sauna and the 'MOON' mist room, was equipped with heat- and humidity-resistant Bose Professional FS4SEs, DM10S subwoofers, FS2SEs, and FS3 bass modules. The mist room, in particular, was outfitted with Bose Professional FS2SEs with FS3 bass modules.
FreeSpace FS2P Pendant-Mount Loudspeakers were installed in the reception, cafe, and lounges to deliver background audio. Close collaboration was needed between Marquee AV and &Soul's architectural and design teams to integrate the AV hardware with the venue's handcrafted interiors. The Bose Professional audio equipment was finished in custom RAL Macore Red to match the interior of the Soul Room.
