Invitation for a casual coffee conversation in the goods halls, featuring a visit from representatives of the Senior Citizens' Office
In the heart of Solingen, Germany, a unique initiative is being organised to combat loneliness in old age. The event, titled "Coffee Get-Together for Single Seniors", is a recurring event happening on the first Wednesday afternoon of each month.
This initiative is a joint venture between Lebensherbst e.V. and the City of Solingen's Senior Citizens' Office. The event takes place at Atelier Gleis 3 in the Goods Halls in the Südpark, located in the city centre.
The upcoming event on Wednesday, July 3rd, will be presented by Petra Krötzsch from Lebensherbst e.V. and Daniea Dannies-Kögel from the city's Senior Citizens' Office. They will discuss excursion opportunities and regular activities for single seniors in Klingenstadt.
The event, which starts at 3:00 PM, is free to attend, but registration is required for better planning. Registration can be done at short notice by contacting Lebensherbst e.V. at 0177 - 625 43 96. It's important to note that the organisers of individual ateliers or events at Güterhallen in Südpark Solingen are responsible for their own event details.
The "Coffee Get-Together for Single Seniors" is open to single seniors who wish to attend. The event aims to provide a platform for social interaction and to combat loneliness in old age.
The event is financially supported by the Gerd-Kaimer-Citizen Foundation. For more information about the event, please visit the project website at https://www.lebensherbst-solingen.com.
