Join Aschaffenburg's Border Hike on Oct 3rd
Aschaffenburg's Feldgeschworenenvereinigung groups have joined forces to organise a border hike on Thursday, October 3rd. The event will take place rain or shine, with flixbuses providing transportation to and from the trail.
The hike will begin at 8:45 AM at the path to the Spatzenbild, between Hohe-Wart-Haus and Sendemast. Participants are advised to wear sturdy footwear and clothing suitable for the weather. The route will pass by six boundary markers and end with a final rest at the Sportheim Volkersbrunn.
Buses will depart towards Hohe Wart from 7:30 AM to transport hikers to the starting point. A free snack will be provided around 10:45 AM during the hike. The organising groups include Feldgeschworenenvereinigung Aschaffenburg Stadt und Land, Sulzbach, Bessenbach, and Mespelbrunn.
The border hike is set for Thursday, October 3rd, with flixbuses available for the return trip after the hike. Participants can look forward to a scenic journey through six boundary markers, ending with a well-deserved rest at the Sportheim Volkersbrunn.
