LAG Landkreis Fürth Opens €700K LEADER Fund for Innovative Projects
The Local Action Group LEADER Landkreis Fürth e.V. (LAG) has opened the application process for innovative project ideas to be funded under the LEADER program. With a total of €1.7 million available until 2027, including €700,000 still available for new applications, the LAG invites citizens and organizations to submit creative project suggestions.
The LEADER program offers an opportunity to implement innovative ideas and improve the quality of life in Landkreis Fürth. District Administrator Bernd Obst encourages everyone to submit creative project suggestions. Interested parties can contact LAG management for advice and submit their project description by 27.10.2025.
Eligible projects have a budget between €7,000 and €250,000. Funding rates are 50% for projects oriented towards the common good and 30% for profit-oriented projects. Creative project concepts can focus on improving public services, promoting climate and environmental protection, strengthening regional value creation, or promoting social cohesion.
The LAG steering committee will evaluate applications on 26.11.2025. After approval, projects can begin once the approval notice is received. Funding will be paid out after the successful completion of the project. The responsibility for managing the financing of LEADER funding in the Landkreis Fürth from 2025 to 2027 typically falls under the local action group (LAG) responsible for that region.
With €700,000 still available for new applications, the LAG invites innovative project ideas that can enhance Landkreis Fürth. The application deadline is 27.10.2025, and approved projects can begin after receiving the approval notice. The LAG will manage the financing of these projects, ensuring their successful completion and subsequent funding payout.
