The Suffolk Wildlife Trust is set to host an engaging online event titled "The Evolution of Vegetation in Britain", scheduled to take place on the Zoom platform. Adrian's passion for historical geography was sparked in 1987 while working for Hampshire County Council. His interest further developed during his work with Essex Wildlife Trust, where he honed his fascination with maps and place names. The webinar will cover the starting point for vegetation in Britain and will discuss changes in the countryside over the centuries, as well as clues to the past found in old maps, field patterns, and place names.

The webinar is part of a series of online events on various wildlife topics organised by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust.
