The city of Wartberg is planning an exciting new project – the construction of a family pool with a unique twist. The estimated cost for the indoor pool new construction is 53 million euros, and 12 million euros for the outdoor pool renovation, although these figures do not include potential additional costs for special features or amenities.

The proposed pool, named the "Panorama Pool Wartberg", is set to be a family pool in terms of cost but may lack the usual luxury associated with such facilities. However, its design integrates environment, technology, and sport harmoniously, giving it an exclusive and upscale ambiance.

The pool's location on the Wartberg is unique, as the 3D model indicates the pool can only be built there and not on the Enz shore. This prime location offers a stunning view of the southwest of Pforzheim and the northern Black Forest, which is sure to make the pool a standout in the region.

The architects have avoided constructing a gray box on the Wartberg and instead created a bold and beautiful design. The pool is complemented by wide terraces that enhance the feeling of openness and luxury, making it a rarity in the region. These elements give the Panorama Pool Wartberg a luxury appearance that could outdate many luxury and thermal pools.

At a press conference, Mayor Peter Boch, First Mayor Dirk Büscher, and Bathing Director Lutz Schwaigert expressed their enthusiasm for the Panorama Pool Wartberg design. Curiously, Mayor Boch asked journalists for their opinion on the design, with one journalist replying that the Panorama Pool design is phenomenal. The mayor himself described the pool as a "smart luxury pool".

If the city council agrees to the project and time and cost frames are largely adhered to, the only remaining question is when the pool can be finished. The Wartberg solution could blend the boundaries between luxury pools and family pools, offering a unique experience for all.

However, the combination of panoramic views and extensive terraces are key distinguishing factors that set the Panorama Pool Wartberg apart. The designs of the asp architects architecture firm suggest a family pool that could outdate many luxury and thermal pools.

  1. The Panorama Pool Wartberg, with its planned luxury terraces and panoramic views, could potentially redefine the convergence of outdoor-living, lifestyle, home-and-garden, and family pools.
  2. This unique family pool, as envisioned by the asp architects, may surpass the luxury amenities of many existing luxury and thermal pools, thereby serving the dual purpose of offering an exceptional outdoor-living space within the home-and-garden setting.
