Mercedes-Benz Unveils Game-Changing Electric Van, the VLE
Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its latest innovation, the VLE, a fully electric van set to revolutionize the stock market today. The VLE boasts impressive features like 800-volt technology, all-wheel steering, and up to 400 kW of power. It also introduces the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and offers automated driving up to level 3.
The VLE's development was spearheaded by Thomas Klein, head of Mercedes-Benz Vans. He employed innovative, digital methods to reduce development time and create efficiencies. The van claims best-in-class aerodynamics and requires only two 15-minute charging stops for a long-distance drive from Stuttgart to Rome.
Production will commence in 2026 at the modernized Vitoria plant. Initially, the VLE will run on the new Van.EA platform, later transitioning to the Van.CA platform with a hybrid combustion engine option. The plant aims to set standards in sustainable production, with CO2-neutral operations and renewable energy sources. Over 5,000 employees underwent training for the new production processes.
The VLE portfolio caters to various customers, from families and leisure users to exclusive shuttle services. With its advanced technology, sustainable production, and innovative development methods, the VLE is poised to make a significant impact on the stock market today.
