MoscaPartners Variations, the collective exhibition during Milan Design Week 2025 at Palazzo Litta, is a vibrant celebration of innovative design and creativity. The exhibition, running until 13 April 2025, offers a diverse range of contemporary design projects that explore new ideas and creative approaches[1].

The theme of this year's exhibition is 'Migrations', focusing on cultural exchange and the blending of different ideas[2]. The show features 24 participants from 12 countries, each presenting unique interpretations of the theme[3].

One of the key highlights is the installation 'Nobody Owns the Land: Earth, Forest, Mahk' by Byoung Cho, a Korean architect. Made of finely crushed red Verona marble and ceramics, the immersive piece invites visitors to reflect on land, identity, and coexistence[1].

Another highlight is the 'Toof' tables reimagined by Marrimor, a Canadian duo, inspired by Vancouver's rain puddles[4]. Meanwhile, Adrenalina, in collaboration with the Museo Tattile Statale Omero and the Francesco Cavazza Institute for the Blind, presents a modular sofa designed with accessibility in mind[5].

The exhibition also includes 'Golden Light Cage', a luminous installation by Luc Druez, in collaboration with LcD Textile, set in a glass-floored room[5]. Italian brand CultEvo showcases 'Cultifutura', a vertical farming concept in everyday life[1].

Caterina Mosca, the founder of MoscaPartners, hopes visitors leave inspired not only by the aesthetics of what they see but also by the stories and ideas behind each project[6]. The exhibition provides a striking backdrop, with the historic Palazzo Litta contrasting heritage architecture with cutting-edge design[1].

MoscaPartners considers Palazzo Litta as a kind of homecoming, as they were among the first to discover the site's potential back in 2014[7]. The exhibition spans the historical 'Piano nobile' of Palazzo Litta, offering visitors a chance to immerse themselves in different design languages and perspectives[1].

Officine Tamborrino, in collaboration with MCA Design, presents 'Memè', a contemporary take on the old Italian credenza[5]. Fico, from Bangladesh, presents 'Woven Air', a work featuring geometric wood panels and handwoven Jamdani fabrics[3].

The exhibition takes on a deeply inclusive spirit, promoting awareness of design through touch, memory, and imagination. Students from the Francesco Cavazza Institute will guide visitors through the Adrenalina installation, with sighted guests experiencing it blindfolded on Tuesdays[5].

The theme of 'Migrations' serves as a medium for dialogue, empathy, and shared futures in a world facing political and societal shifts[2]. The exhibition is a place for visitors to immerse themselves in different design languages and perspectives, showcasing a forward-thinking collection of designs that emphasize experimentation and contemporary creativity[1][2][3].
