"New line presents worldwide carpet tile and LVT offerings designed for lasting interior designs"
In a recent announcement, Interface, Inc. unveiled two new collections that seamlessly blend tradition and innovation – the Dressed Lines carpet tile collection and the Lasting Impressions LVT.
The Dressed Lines collection, inspired by post-war modernism, offers a unique blend of sleek, contemporary designs. On the other hand, Lasting Impressions LVT draws inspiration from traditional crafts, creating a timeless aesthetic that resonates in modern spaces.
Lasting Impressions LVT is the first to launch with Interface's new Sound Choice+ acoustic backing in the EMEA market. This innovative backing reduces impact sound by up to 19 dB, ensuring minimal disturbances between floors and rooms.
The collection features classic textures inspired by traditional crafts like tatami weaving and hand-finished plaster, updated with a contemporary sensibility. Notable designs include Merino Wool and Sweetgrass, Canvas, Rice Paper and Beryl, and Plaster, each drawing from natural textures and artisanal techniques to create deeply felt surfaces.
Plaster, in particular, takes inspiration from hand-finishes and natural patinas, celebrating handmade irregularities. It is available in 50 cm x 100 cm format in four colorways.
Heirloom, a new woven-inspired addition to Interface's LVT portfolio, also makes its debut. It features visuals of tatami weaving and is available in 25 cm x 1 m format in eight colorways.
The Heirloom collection also includes Goes Around and Comes Around, foundational styles, and Simple Does It and Positive Spin, offering unmatched versatility, all available in 50 cm x 50 cm square formats.
Interface's Head of Global Design, Kelly Simcox, explained that these collections are designed to tell a story that highlights nature, human experience, and how we work, learn, and live together.
The Heirloom in Canvas collection, which includes Angular Times and Accent Hour, offers bolder styles in the 25 cm x 1 m format. Lasting Impressions, with its six styles and eight complementary color combinations, is part of the Heirloom in Canvas collection as well.
Lasting Impressions LVT collection also offers a woven-inspired LVT pattern with lots of visual texture and a plaster look designed to camouflage wear and tear. The collection is Cradle to Cradle Certified® v3.1 Silver in Europe, providing third-party validation of the company's commitment to material health.
The Dressed Lines collection, with its commitment to sustainability, further solidifies Interface's position as a leader in environmentally friendly flooring solutions.
