Operating Details Revealed by Krasnodar Leader Regarding the Initial Municipal Protection Haven for Stray Animals
In Krasnodar, Mayor Evgeny Naumov recently visited the city's inaugural municipal shelter for stray animals located in Berezovo. The facility, already in operation, has captured 47 dogs without owners. Out of this number, 23 dogs have undergone important procedures, including sterilization, castration, vaccination, and microchipping. One dog has been reunited with its previous owner, while seven have found new homes, according to the Krasnodar administration's press service.
Naumov expressed satisfaction with the shelter's modern facilities, commenting that with a fully staffed team and the shelter operating at full capacity, they will be able to address stray dog issues systematically in the city. He also noted that Krasnodar residents are already expressing interest in adopting dogs.
