Our establishment plays host to the Delhi Chapter of the Association of Designers of India.
The Association of Designers of India (ADI), a Not for Profit organization registered in Pune, India, has extended its reach beyond New Delhi, establishing chapters in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Pune.
Established with a vision to be a world-class network representing the professional interests of the Indian Design community, ADI recently held a kickstarter event at a campus in Okhla, New Delhi. The event, which featured a discussion session with approximately 50 designers in attendance, was aimed at putting New Delhi on the Indian Design Map.
Amit Gulati, Founder of Incubis and an active member of ADI, spoke at the event. Gulati discussed the aim, need, and importance of ADI during his presentation. He emphasised ADI's mission to create a meaningful interface between design professionals, people as users, the industry, education institutions, and policymakers.
The discussion session was open for numerous inputs from the designers in attendance, providing an opportunity for open dialogue and collaboration. ADI's activities are focused on creating such interfaces, with the ultimate goal of benefiting the Indian Design community as a whole and putting Indian Design on the global map.
ADI's official social media handles can be found on Facebook and Instagram, and their website can be accessed at www.adi.org.in. Despite extensive search efforts, information about the president of the ADI Delhi Chapter initiated at the Okhla campus was not readily available.
ADI's presence in multiple cities across India underscores its commitment to fostering a vibrant and connected design community. As more events and initiatives are planned, ADI looks forward to continuing to make a significant impact in the Indian Design landscape.
