Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky Takes Initiative for Citywide Spring Cleanup

The city administration of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky encourages citizens and businesses to participate in this year's spring cleanups, announced by Deputy Head of the City Administration, Alexander Gvozdyev.

Participants include labor collectives, public organizations, schoolchildren, students, as well as entrepreneurs, managing companies, and all interested parties. Equipment will be provided on-site, but prior registration is mandatory. Interested parties can register by calling 8 (4152) 46-81-10 or 46-03-93.

The initial cleanup is scheduled for Friday, 11:00 AM, across several locations in the city. These include the area from the "Kultuchnoe Lake" bus stop to the "Ozernovskaya Kosa" bus stop (both sides), the road from "Domik v derevne" store to the "Kultuchnoe Lake" bus stop, the area near the stele "City of Military Glory," Victory Prospect, 1 (as part of the "Comfortable Urban Environment" project), and the road from the "Central Market" bus stop to Leningradskaya St, 90.

Additional cleanups will take place on Fridays until the end of May in various areas, including public, private, and residential plots. New locations will be made available on the official website and social media pages of the administration. Independent equipment pickup is also an option at the Urban Improvement Service, Vladivostokskaya St, 29. Contact numbers: 8 (4152) 46-81-10 and 46-03-93.

When planning your participation, it is recommended to check local government websites or contact community organizations for accurate and up-to-date information. Typically, registration is required, and participants might need to bring their own gloves, trash bags, and water. Many community groups also use social media platforms to announce events and encourage participation.

In the spirit of maintaining a clean and comfortable city, the cleanup initiative extends to home-and-garden areas, as local residents are also encouraged to participate. It's a wonderful opportunity to enhance our lifestyle by contributing to the Citywide Spring Cleanup, alongside various groups and businesses throughout Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky.
