Phorge Makerspace to Hold Restart Celebration on August 23rd

Phorge Makerspace is set to celebrate its expansion with a Grand Reopening on Saturday, August 23. The event will take place at the new location at 1205 Broadway St., Suite 3, which the makerspace moved to in 2023, thanks to the Wyoming Innovation Partnership Grant awarded by Sheridan College.

The Grand Reopening is a public occasion for the community to explore the new facilities and witness the makerspace's expanded capabilities. The expanded facilities include both clean and dirty workspaces, such as the fully equipped metal shop, which was mentioned earlier.

Clint Stussi, Board President of Phorge Makerspace, and Sam Neises, Shop Manager, both participated in a Public Pulse event to share the news. The Grand Reopening will serve as a tribute to one of Phorge's foundational figures.

The day's activities will kick off at 9 a.m., with food being served at 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy shop tours, hands-on activities, and an opportunity to learn more about the makerspace's mission to foster innovation and entrepreneurship in the community.

The Wyoming Innovation Partnership Grant has played a crucial role in Phorge Makerspace's growth, enabling the advancement of their workspace and resources. The Grand Reopening is a testament to the success of this partnership and a chance for the community to be a part of this exciting milestone.

All are welcome to attend the Grand Reopening of Phorge Makerspace and experience the transformation firsthand. The event promises to be an engaging and informative day for both newcomers and long-time supporters of the makerspace.

The Grand Reopening of Phorge Makerspace offers a unique opportunity for the community to delve into the transformation of the makerspace, particularly in its home-and-garden and lifestyle sectors, which are now part of the expanded facilities. Clint Stussi and Sam Neises, representatives of Phorge Makerspace, share that the public pulse event highlighted the innovative additions, aiming to inspire and encourage the public in their creative pursuits.
