The district of Rhein-Kreis Neuss is once again inviting photographers of all skill levels to participate in its annual photo competition. Organised by the district's press and public relations office, this event has become a much-anticipated recurring event, showcasing the district's beauty and diversity through the lens of local photographers.

This year, Benjamin Josephs, the head of the press office, expressed his delight with the response to the current competition. According to Mr. Josephs, approximately 300 photos have been received so far, promising a rich and diverse selection for the jury to consider.

Last year's winning photos offered a captivating glimpse into the district's diversity and showcased highlights from various locations. Among the winning photos were the Obertor in Neuss, Schloss Dyck, the Quirinus Cathedral, the Uedesheimer Rheinbogen, hay bales in Grevenbroich-Kapellen, and poppies in Kleinenbroich.

For this year's competition, participants can submit a maximum of four photos. The subjects of the photos must be taken within the Rhein-Kreis Neuss, and they should not be more than two years old. The competition does not specify any specific subjects for the photos, leaving ample room for creativity and interpretation.

The jury for the competition is chaired by Benjamin Josephs, ensuring a fair and informed evaluation of the entries. The winners will be selected in September, and those interested in participating can find the participation conditions and upload their photos with the subject indicated at this link: Photo Competition 2023
