Recreational activities and exploration of the forests in close proximity to the Youth Hostel
The Youth Guest House in Rödinghausen is set to host an exciting holiday camp for children aged 8 to 12 from October 20 to 24, 2025. Organised by the Herford district, the Youth Guest House, and Verein Helden e.V., this camp promises a week filled with activities in the woods and nature.
Activities during the camp include exploration of birdlife, where participants will learn to identify various species using binoculars. Exploration games will also be played in the woods, providing a fun and engaging way to learn about the natural world. A night walk is included in the schedule, offering a unique opportunity to observe nocturnal wildlife.

The cost per child is 120 euros, but for those residing outside the Herford district, the price is 150 euros. For siblings attending the camp, the price is reduced to 90 euros per child.
