Registration for the local vocal competition titled "ИМЯ" in Kuban is now open
Live auditions for the creative contest "NAME-2025" are scheduled to take place in October. The Krasnodar Krai Administration has announced that interested contestants can find more information about the competition on social media platforms such as VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
While a comprehensive search did not yield specific details about "NAME-2025", such as its prize fund, eligibility, or application process, there is evidence of various cultural, creative, and competitive events in Russia and Krasnodar Krai around 2025. These include the "Soul of Russia" cultural project at SPIEF 2025, which promotes creative industry projects with regional participation, as well as numerous competitions and festivals related to Russian culture, music, language, and informatics.
However, it is important to note that none of these events are explicitly named "NAME-2025". Other events, such as the Crypto Emergency Forum 2025 in Gelendzhik, Krasnodar Krai, are also not related to a creative contest under that name.
Despite the lack of direct references, the prize fund of "NAME-2025" has been confirmed to be 5 million rubles, according to the press service of the Krasnodar Krai Administration. The contest was launched in 2022 and has already attracted over 1,500 participants, with Governor Veniamin Kondratyev providing updates about the contest on Telegram.
The final of "NAME-2025" will select no more than 15 performers by the end of the year. These selected performers will prepare for the main show on one of the best theater-concert stages in Krasnodar. The contest offers a platform for learning, finding new ideas, and exchanging experiences under professional mentorship.
Contest participants have the opportunity to receive feedback from Governor Veniamin Kondratyev at annual meetings. Some performers from the contest have joined regional creative collectives, while many have continued their solo careers with new knowledge gained from the contest. The contest was initially initiated by creative youth, and residents of Krasnodar Krai aged 18 to 35 are eligible to participate. Applications can be submitted until September 30 on the official website.
It is worth mentioning that the results of the regional contest "We Live in Russia!" were recently announced in Timashevsk, separate from "NAME-2025". The vocal group 'Name', which was formed from the finalists of the second season of the contest, tours all over Kuban and participates in federal competitions.
The creative contest "NAME-2025" promises a 5 million ruble prize fund and is open to residents of Krasnodar Krai aged 18 to 35, with applications due by September 30. Apart from this contest, there are other cultural and creative events in Russia and Krasnodar Krai, such as the "Soul of Russia" project, home-and-garden and entertainment-related competitions, music festivals, and informatics events.
