Sail aboard the Canandaigua Lady, fundraising for Thompson Health Guild
On Friday, September 5, 2025, the Thompson Health Guild is inviting the public to join a unique fundraising event, the "Cruise for a Cause", taking place on beautiful Canandaigua Lake.
The event, scheduled to depart at 4:30 p.m. from 205 Lakeshore Drive, Canandaigua, will see passengers embark on a 90-minute boat ride aboard the handicap accessible Canandaigua Lady, a paddlewheel boat.
Tickets for this special cruise cost $35 each. A portion of both ticket sales and bar sales will go towards supporting Thompson Health Guild’s efforts for local healthcare programs, equipment, and staff education.
The Canandaigua Lady offers a comfortable experience, with two restrooms and a full-service bar where snacks and beverages, including alcohol, can be purchased. However, outside food and drink are not allowed on the cruise.
The funds raised will support the Associate Education Fund of the Thompson Health Guild, which provides up to $10,000 annually to help healthcare employees pursue certifications and professional training.
