Second Edition of Ostfriesland Biennale Enters Underway - Second-Chance for East Friesland Biennale Advances to Next Phase

Silke Oldenburg, one of the curators, can't hide her excitement about the second edition, telling the Deutsche Presse-Agentur, "We're thrilled about the second edition of the Ostfriesland Biennale!"
The first edition in 2022 left a lasting impression, with organizational reasons leading to an exceptional biennale in 2022. Until September 7th, art enthusiasts can indulge in more than 50 international artists' works exhibited in a decentralized exhibition around the Dollart, neighboring Netherlands, and Oldenburg and Wilhelmshaven. The display will be not just indoors but also in nature or at special locations.

The Emden Art Hall is all set to showcase its recent exhibition, "Close to the Sky. Clouds in Art." The Kunstverein Norden, on the other hand, will display "Tides of Latitude," a collaboration between students from the Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden Künste Stuttgart and the Minerva Art Academy in Groningen.
