SPD Summer School 2025: Recreational Learning Opportunities for Participants

Another event not to be missed is the Luise-Albertz-Hall tour, scheduled for August 20 at 15:00, located at the main entrance of the LAH, Duppelstr. 1, 46045 Oberhausen. The Luise-Albertz-Hall is a versatile venue, hosting a variety of events such as carnival, classical music, conferences, and comedy. During the tour, attendees will go behind the scenes and hear explanations from managing director Willi Joe Schaugg. The maximum number of participants for this tour is 25. The event concludes with a drink and a sausage in the CCO event catering beer garden.
It is worth noting that the decision to operate the city hall independently instead of concluding an operating contract with the company SMG was made by a majority of the council, including the SPD, about six years ago. This decision was met with criticism, but the city hall continues to function effectively.
