In the heart of Freising, the cultural hub of Schafhof continues to thrive, despite some shifts in its culinary offerings.

The popular museum cafe, MUSE, has been temporarily transformed into an emergency service, offering cold drinks, coffee, tea, and cake through self-service. Despite the change, visitors can still enjoy the cafe's ambience and the stunning views it provides. The future of MUSE remains uncertain, with possibilities including a new operator, continued self-service, or even the disappearance of culinary service altogether. The director of the art forum, Berg, remains optimistic about the future development of the cafe, assuring patrons that enjoying a coffee and the view will still be possible, whether with full service or only self-service.

Meanwhile, the art forum's other cafe, Cafe Botanika, has been abandoned, and its future is uncertain. A new operator named "Kaffeekommune" plans to take over the former Café Botanika at Schafhof, replacing the self-service system with a more traditional cafe experience.

The cultural offerings at Schafhof continue to expand, with the regular Freising newsletter now including content from the region. Larger events and rentals will continue in cooperation with local and regional partners. The popular sun terrace at MUSE is still accessible, but service is no longer available.

MUSE and Cafe Botanika play significant roles in the cultural offerings at Schafhof, providing a unique blend of art, culture, and cuisine. As changes unfold, patrons can look forward to exciting new developments and continued enjoyment of the cultural experiences Schafhof has to offer. The decision about the service type for MUSE and the future of Cafe Botanika will likely be made in the coming months.
