TLC offers a range of benefits to participating startups. These include access to mentorship from experts in urban sustainability and business development, opportunities for pilot projects or field trials in tropical cities, networking with potential investors, partners, and customers, prize money or funding to accelerate product development and market entry, and platforms to showcase innovations to wider audiences including city planners and policymakers.
Moreover, TLC has deployed over S$13 million in funding to startups, with these startups collectively raising hundreds of millions more after receiving funding from TLC. TLC provides the necessary funding and ecosystem support to take innovative ideas from laboratory to market.
