In a city known for its rich culture, Omsk is about to add another captivating attraction to its landscape. The municipal culture department has announced the winning design for the new fountains on Tupolev Embankment, and the chosen design promises to be a spectacle like no other.

The heart-shaped fountains, with their smooth lines, will incorporate original water images, setting them apart from traditional fountain designs. The winning design features volumetric water figures, adding an extra dimension to the water display. Both heart-shaped projects will also have a water screen for video projections, further enhancing their visual appeal.

But the new fountains are not just about aesthetics. They will come alive in the evenings with musical effects, creating a symphony of sight and sound. The heart-shaped projects will also have a musical component, adding a rhythmic beat to the water's dance. The fountains will also be equipped with light effects, turning them into a glowing spectacle after dark.

The results of the voting for the new fountain design were announced by Governor Vitaly Khotsenko on Sunday, August 10. A total of 9,225 people participated in the vote, with the first project variant receiving the majority of votes, 59%. The second project variant, with its calm water surface, received 41% of the votes.

The new fountains are set to become a significant addition to Omsk's skyline, combining art, technology, and music in a way that promises to delight visitors and residents alike. As the city continues to grow and evolve, these heart-shaped fountains will serve as a testament to its forward-thinking spirit and commitment to creating unique and memorable experiences for all.
