Three additional dates for Youth Traffic Schools announced, focusing on road safety education.
Gießen Introduces Traffic School for Children Aged 6 to 11
Starting from August 30, the city of Gießen is offering a unique opportunity for children to learn about road safety and practice driving in a controlled environment. The traffic school, organised by Gießen@Schule gGmbH, is open to families and takes place at the traffic training area in the Weststadt.
Located at Krofdorfer Straße 109 a, 35398 Gießen, the traffic training area provides a protected space for children to gain valuable experiences in road traffic. The sessions, which run from 10:00 to 13:00 on August 30, September 13, and September 27, are specifically designed for children aged 6 to 11.
Parents are encouraged to attend and test driving on the road with their children, making this a family-friendly event. The traffic training offer in Gießen is not exclusive to a specific school or educational institution, allowing children from all backgrounds to participate.
The traffic training area in Gießen was opened by the city in April of this year for use outside of school hours. This initiative offers an excellent opportunity for children to learn about road safety outside of a school setting, providing them with essential skills and knowledge to navigate the roads safely.
By participating in the traffic school, children will not only learn about the rules of the road but also gain practical experience in a controlled environment. This hands-on approach to learning is an effective way to ensure that children develop a strong understanding of road safety and are better prepared for driving on the roads in the future.
For more information about the traffic school and the traffic training area in Gießen, families are encouraged to visit the Gießen@Schule gGmbH website or contact the organisation directly. With the last three dates for the traffic school yet to be specified, it's important for families to act quickly to secure their spot and take advantage of this valuable opportunity.
