Three vessels available for rent within the Rotehorn city park
Three contemporary pedal boats have been introduced at the boat rental on Adolf-Mittag-See in Magdeburg just in time for Ascension Day. With the acquisition of these new boats, the boat rental now offers a total of 20 boats for rental, operational from Tuesday to Sunday, starting at 11 AM. The refreshment of the fleet costs approximately 11,400 euros, enabling the gradual phasing out of older boats. The long-term maintenance of the quality boat rental in Rotehorn City Park necessitated this planned investment.
Pricing for the boats ranges as follows: the use of one of the five rowing boats costs €3 for 30 minutes and €5 for 60 minutes, while one of the six single-person pedal boats can be rented for €4 or €6. The six five-person pedal boats can be used for €5 or €7. Water taxis are also available for rental, with costs of €6 or €8. All prices are based on a usage duration of either 30 or 60 minutes.
These pedal boats and water taxis have gained popularity among Magdeburg residents. Water taxis accommodate up to six passengers, in contrast to classic pedal boats that hold up to four or five people. The water taxis differ from other pedal boats due to their integrated steering wheel, which makes them popular for family activities. With the steering wheel, precise maneuvering adds to the enjoyment of family activities and groups with children.
General information about pedal boats indicates they are popular recreational vessels, typically powered by pedaling. They can accommodate varying numbers of people and are perfect for enjoying scenic views. These boats offer a fun, low-cost way to experience water activities without extensive boating experience. Costs for renting a pedal boat can range from $10 to $30 per hour, depending on factors like the size and features of the boat.
Other pedal boats, perfect for outdoor-living and home-and-garden moments, have gained popularity among Magdeburg residents, offering a fun, low-cost way to enjoy the scenic views of Adolf-Mittag-See while enjoying a different lifestyle. These boats, with an integrated steering wheel for precise maneuvering, are typically powered by pedaling and can accommodate varying numbers of people.
