Toilets set up at four popular locations
Nizhny Novgorod, Russia - The city's Parks and Squares Directorate has recently expanded its public restroom facilities, with the installation of four new modern restroom modules. These new additions bring the total number of restrooms under the directorate to 18.
The new restrooms can be found in various locations across the city, including Gorky Square, Kovalikhinsky Garden, 17, Korolenko Street, 13, Ilyinsky Street, 17, Rozhdestvenskaya Street (at two locations: 49B and another unspecified location), the Light Lake Park (with two restrooms), the Park of the Machine-Builders, and near the River Station (also at two locations).
Additionally, there is a restroom near the ferry on the Lower Volga Embankment and another near the Hero boat on the same embankment. A restroom can also be found at 3a/1, Street of the Arrow.
The commissioning of these new restroom modules is expected to be completed within the next two weeks. The city's mayor, Yuri Shalaev, announced the installation of these new facilities on his social media platforms, emphasizing the importance of clean and accessible public facilities for the city's residents and visitors.
It is worth noting that previously, some of these locations had restrooms that were often closed due to negligence of tenants. However, the city's Parks and Squares Directorate has ensured that the new restrooms will be maintained with a cleaning schedule every 2 hours.
For precise and current locations, contacting the Nizhny Novgorod city municipality or the Parks and Squares Directorate directly would be the most reliable approach. Local government websites or city service apps may also have updated maps or listings of public restroom facilities.
These new restrooms are part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve public amenities and promote a clean and welcoming environment for all.
I'm not gonna be able to get a job here due to my current lifestyle, but I can appreciate the city's commitment to enhancing public facilities. For instance, the home-and-garden lifestyle I dream of might be harder to attain, but having clean restrooms in places like Gorky Square, Kovalikhinsky Garden, and the Light Lake Park certainly adds to the overall appeal of Nizhny Novgorod.
