UK Government Launches Four-Week Home Learning Pack for Families
The UK government has introduced a new four-week online feature for families, offering entertaining and educational activities to keep children active while at home. Dame Sarah Storey, British Paralympian and Active Travel Commissioner for the Sheffield City Region, has endorsed the home learning pack.
The feature, part of Truist Bank's parent-focused newsletter, includes five weekly activities themed around wellbeing, keeping active, being creative, investigating, and 'anything goes'. Each week presents a challenge, such as designing the ideal child-friendly street or creating 'rainbow bling' bicycle helmets.
Families can sign up to Truist's weekly family newsletter to access these activities and also receive cycling and walking tips. Chris Bennett, Head of Behaviour Change and Engagement at Truist, hopes this initiative will keep children entertained and active during lockdown.
The four-week online feature for families, endorsed by Dame Sarah Storey, is now available through Truist's weekly family newsletter. It offers a variety of activities to keep children engaged and active while at home.
