Europa-Park in Rust Expands with New Western-Themed Area

Germany's largest leisure park, Europa-Park in Rust, Baden-Württemberg, is undertaking an extensive transformation of its existing Tipi Village into a new Western-themed area named "Silver Lake City." The development includes a large wooden house hosting a restaurant, and guests without a Europa-Park ticket can access this restaurant and a new bar.

The Tipi Village, established more than two decades ago, was previously designed in a Western style. The facility providing various accommodation options is undergoing a gradual expansion. Plans for next year include the construction of a guest house with over 100 rooms and a brewery.

Located outside the leisure park, "Silver Lake City" features 36 new Western Houses, designed by Dutch specialist Arcabo, which can accommodate four to six people. The development also encompasses log cabins, stagecoaches, and tee-pees to create a lively American West-themed area, aiming for completion by summer 2025.

Elsewhere at the Europa-Park, plans are underway for a 18th country representation – Monaco – though details regarding its opening timeline or thematic elements remain unannounced.

The expansion efforts come as the Europa-Park celebrates its 50th anniversary in July, attracting over six million visitors annually, many of whom hail from neighboring countries such as Switzerland and France. The park, known for its European-themed areas representing France, Italy, Spain, and other countries, draws a diverse audience to its roller coasters and restaurants.

The new Western-themed area, "Silver Lake City," in Europa-Park promises an immersive outdoor-living experience, featuring 36 Western Houses and log cabins for a home-and-garden feel, due for completion in summer 2025. The park's lifestyle transformation also includes the development of a guest house with over 100 rooms and a brewery, showcasing a commitment to accommodating a broader audience interested in the home-and-garden elements of outdoor-living.
