YSMA, established in 2019 and named after Nigerian art collector Prince Yemisi Shyllon, offers a unique 'transformative learning experience'. It houses an impressive collection of African arts and a remarkable contemporary collection created by Nigerian women artists.

Some visitors chose to engage in laughter and conversation, while others reflected deeply on the pieces.

YSMA, the first university museum in Nigeria, continues to make waves. After winning the Museum Opening of The Year 2020 award by Apollo Magazine, it now presents 'The Invisibles' Hands', an exhibition that resonates the feminine presence and highlights the significant contributions of women artists in Nigeria.
