From January 1, 2024, annual passes will be more costly; an additional five euros for adults, amounting to 85 euros, and five euros for children, amounting to 55 euros. The annual family pass for two adults and four children below 16 years will amount to 225 euros. Zoo director Jörg Junhold admitted that rising expenses in all sectors have not spared Zoo Leipzig.

Zoo Leipzig Increases Ticket Prices Next Year

Beginning with the summer season in March 2023, significant changes will be implemented at Zoo Leipzig, with ticket prices set to rise. However, the price increase for annual passes will take effect on January 1, 2024. Adults and children will see a five euro hike, bringing adult tickets to 85 euros, and child tickets to 55 euros. The family annual pass, which includes two adults and four children under 16, will cost 225 euros. The zoo's director, Jörg Junhold, attributes the price rise to escalating costs across all areas.

For reference, as of earlier data, adult and child tickets at Zoo Leipzig were priced around 18.50 Euro and 11.00 Euro, respectively. It is advisable to check the official Leipzig Zoo website or contact them directly for the most accurate and up-to-date information.
